IAMRAIN is a practical microlearning platform available at iamrain.co. We publish learning content, Growth and Journal journeys, free learning resources, and Premium Micro Learns.

2. Information we may collect

The information we collect depends on how you use IAMRAIN. It may include:

• Contact information, such as your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your name.
• Account or learning-access information created when you register for the free Starter, a course, Premium Micro Learn, or another learning resource.
• Purchase and transaction information, such as the product purchased, transaction status, date, and related customer records when paid products are used. IAMRAIN does not need to store your full payment-card details when payment is handled by a third-party payment provider.
• Communications you send to us, including support, privacy, feedback, or general enquiries.
• Technical and usage information, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, pages visited, and interactions with the site when logging, analytics, security or delivery features are enabled.
• Learning and engagement information, where supported by the delivery platform, such as signup source, tags, lesson access, email delivery, email clicks, course progress, completion, or similar engagement events.

3. How we collect information

We may collect information when you:

• register for the free IAMRAIN Starter or another resource;
• join an email sequence or request course access;
• purchase a Premium Micro Learn or other digital product;
• contact IAMRAIN by email or through a future contact form;
• browse or interact with iamrain.co;
• watch embedded videos or use third-party learning, checkout, analytics or payment services connected to IAMRAIN.

4. Free Starter and email delivery

IAMRAIN uses email registration to provide access to the free IAMRAIN Starter. The current Starter registration and learner-access flow is delivered through Systeme.io.

When you register for the Starter, your email address is required so we can create or update your learner record, enrol or grant access to the course, send essential access or service messages, and operate the associated learner journey. First name may also be collected where you choose to provide it.

We may also send follow-up learning emails, product information, or relevant IAMRAIN updates where permitted. Marketing messages will include an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending service messages that are necessary to provide something you requested or purchased.

5. Systeme.io and learning automation

IAMRAIN uses Systeme.io for the free Starter registration and learner-delivery flow, including functions such as contact management, enrolment, authentication, course access, navigation, email delivery, tags and automation where enabled.

Information you provide through the Starter registration may therefore be processed through Systeme.io so IAMRAIN can provide the requested access, manage the learner record, send necessary emails, and operate the course journey.

IAMRAIN may also use Systeme.io for future paid checkout, Premium delivery, tags, automations or related commercial workflows. Any additional production use should be reflected in this policy when enabled.

6. YouTube videos and embedded content

IAMRAIN may host lesson videos on YouTube and embed those videos in IAMRAIN or its course-delivery environment. YouTube is a Google service.

When you load or play an embedded YouTube video, Google or YouTube may receive technical information about your browser, device, IP address, and interaction with the video, and may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies and settings.

Public IAMRAIN Shorts may also be available directly through YouTube. Unlisted lesson videos are not public search listings, but an unlisted YouTube link should not be treated as a confidential or technically restricted file.

7. Payments and purchases

Paid IAMRAIN products may use third-party checkout, payment, and course-delivery services. When you make a purchase, your payment information may be submitted to the relevant payment provider rather than being processed directly by IAMRAIN unless explicitly stated otherwise.

IAMRAIN may retain transaction-related records such as your name, email address, product purchased, amount, payment status, transaction reference, and access status where necessary for fulfilment, customer support, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

IAMRAIN and services embedded in or connected to the site may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies for functions such as:

• site operation and security;
• remembering preferences;
• course or account access;
• video playback;
• email or conversion measurement;
• analytics and performance monitoring;
• checkout and payment processing.

Where consent is required by applicable law, non-essential cookies or tracking technologies should be enabled only after the appropriate consent choice is provided.

9. Analytics and conversion measurement

IAMRAIN may use analytics or conversion tools to understand how visitors discover the site, which learning journeys are useful, whether a Starter registration is completed, and how visitors move through Premium Preview, Access, checkout, and purchase flows.

Analytics should be configured to collect only what is reasonably useful for operating and improving IAMRAIN. The final production analytics and consent configuration should remain aligned with this policy.

10. Why we use personal information

Depending on the service and applicable law, IAMRAIN may use personal information to:

• provide a resource, course, product, or service you requested;
• manage access, enrolment, purchases, learner records, and support;
• send transactional or service-related messages;
• send learning updates or marketing where permitted;
• understand and improve IAMRAIN content, usability, and conversion flows;
• protect the site, users, and services from abuse, fraud, or security threats;
• meet accounting, tax, regulatory, or other legal obligations;
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.

Where applicable, processing may rely on your consent, the need to perform a contract or provide a requested service, legitimate interests that do not override your rights, or compliance with legal obligations.

11. When we share information

IAMRAIN does not sell personal information to advertisers.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate IAMRAIN, such as website hosting, email and automation platforms, course-delivery tools, video hosting, analytics providers, payment processors, security services, professional advisers, or other infrastructure providers.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or support a business restructuring or transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

12. Affiliate links

Some IAMRAIN pages may contain affiliate links to books, products, or services. If you follow an affiliate link, the third-party destination may collect information under its own privacy practices. IAMRAIN may receive a commission if you make a qualifying purchase, at no additional cost to you.

Where a link is monetised, IAMRAIN aims to disclose the affiliate relationship clearly near the relevant recommendation or link.

13. How long we retain information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including service delivery, customer support, security, accounting, legal, and compliance needs.

Email and marketing records may be retained until you unsubscribe, withdraw consent where applicable, or the record is no longer needed. We may retain a minimal suppression record so that an unsubscribe request continues to be respected.

Purchase, accounting, dispute, and legal records may need to be kept for longer periods where required or reasonably necessary.

14. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in those messages. You may also contact privacy@iamrain.co with a privacy request.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Some information may also need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate legal, security, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

15. International processing

IAMRAIN may use service providers that process information in countries other than the country where you live. Data-protection standards can differ between jurisdictions. Where required, we will rely on appropriate contractual, organisational, or legal safeguards for international transfers.

16. Security

IAMRAIN uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures intended to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, medical records, financial account credentials, or other highly sensitive information to IAMRAIN by ordinary email.

17. Children and younger users

IAMRAIN is designed for a general learning audience and is not directed to children under 13. If the law where you live requires parental or guardian consent for a younger person to use an online service, please use IAMRAIN only with the required permission.

If we learn that personal information from a child has been collected in circumstances where consent or another legal basis was required and was not available, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

18. Third-party websites

IAMRAIN may link to booksellers, publishers, social platforms, YouTube, Systeme.io, payment providers, or other third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. IAMRAIN is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites or services.

19. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when IAMRAIN changes its services, integrations, legal requirements, or data practices. The updated version will show a revised “Last updated” date.

If a change materially affects how we use personal information, we will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice where appropriate.
